IMPRESS Kick off Workshop

IMPRESS Kick off Workshop

September 2014

The IMPRESS project launched in September 2014 with a workshop held at St James’s Teaching Hospital in Leeds.

The workshop was organised as a knowledge transfer event which brought together clinicians, engineers, industry and people living with incontinence.

The comprehensive 2 day programme  provided engineers with an insight into current clinical expertise in the treatment of urinary and fecal incontinence and the challenges of managing incontinence on a daily basis. Clinicians were given an overview of research activities at the Unversity of Leeds working towards innovative devices and materials for the treatment and management of incontinence whilst Torax Medical, Coloplast and Medtronic presented their latest product developments.
