The IMPRESS network have collaborated with HTC Foundation (HTCf) to create an exciting programme of Summer internships for 2016.
The internships are designed to bring together students from multiple disciplines, including chemistry, engineering, medicine, physics and product design to work collaboratively on a joint project.
There are two project themes available, aligned to the activities of the HTCf and IMPRESS respectively: “Smart Sutures” and “Smart Pads”. They will build on previous work of the collaboratives during the previous year, leading to study into proof of concept.
This is a fantastic opportunity for students interested in interdisciplinary research to address healthcare needs. The internships will be of 8 weeks duration and will attract a small weekly stipend.
The application deadline is 11th April 2016 (12noon)
