Ali Alazmani

IMPRESS Research Lead, University of Leeds

Dr Ali Alazmani is a Tenure-Track Research Fellow in Surgical Technologies. His main research interest is in the design and development of novel actuators and sensors for soft robots.

He also investigates the application of these technologies to address unmet clinical needs such as non-blood contacting cardiac assist devices, locomotion platforms for robotic hydro-colonoscopy, and novel artificial sphincters for incontinence therapies.
